Shawnetta likes to use motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths based, and solution focused. She loves to empower clients to motivate change. Implementing mediation when working with her clients helps them navigate relaxation skills and improve their mood and quality of life.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shawnetta believes mental health is a public health concern. Mental health should be normalized not stigmatized. Receiving therapy is a positive way to overcome and deal with one\u2019s mental health. Mental health affects your mind, body and soul. Going through the therapeutic process allows the client to understand how they each play a role in their mental health.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shawnetta just became a mother to a beautiful baby girl in November. She loves to spend time with her family. She loves to host parties especially for holidays and birthdays. During her spare time, she enjoys watching basketball, traveling, and trying a new restaurant for brunch with her girls.
