Charlene\u2019s therapy sessions\nincorporate mindfulness integration, encouragement, and art therapy as\nneeded. Often society emphasizes self-worth which often causes others to\nfeel disconnected, or inadequate to others. Charlene’s goal is to use hopeful\nand positive approaches to remind clients to focus on\nthe success of their future and not the past. Charlene is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Associate Counselor of Alcohol and Drug (CAC-AD). She received her Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 1998 and a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Bowie State University in 2012. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
