Meet Melissa Houck, LCPC

Melissa Houck graduated from McDaniel College with a degree in Community Mental Health Counseling. She was inspired to pursue counseling while working with at-risk youth and families early in her career. This experience showed her how powerful counseling can be in helping people heal and rebuild their lives.  

Melissa is also a certified LCPC Supervisor and implements this expertise in treatment with clients. Through a compassionate, client-centered approach, using evidence-based therapies like CBT and trauma-informed techniques, she focuses on each client’s strengths and aims to support growth, resilience, and healthier relationships. 

Clients can expect to leave treatment with a stronger sense of self-love and confidence, equipped to navigate challenges, cope with difficulties, and fully embrace the joys in their lives. Motivated by seeing real change through therapy, Melissa strives to continue advancing and evolving in this field. Each experience reinforces her passion for guiding others toward stability, growth, and hope.
